“There are many adversities in our lives and we often say we trust God. Do you know what that mean, what you should expect when you say trust God?” “Do you really know Him?”
This is the opening, which woke me up at the biblical counseling course. My ears are fully open.
“God is delighted to provide, in abundance, not just barely, not just functions but esthetically. He looks around, loves color, wisdom, growth, sense of humor. He always stop and evaluate if it is good, if it intends to deliver, or benefit others.”
Her soft voice and gentle smile stick with me. I am in an adversity, and always declare that I trust Him, but do I really know Him? Do I know what to expect?
Do you?

Liquor store
Ms Suzie wants to throw a party and in need of lot of drinks. She called up the liquor store, requesting “please deliver me X boxes of beer as soon as possible”. Unfortunately she dialed the number of his church Minister, Rev. Smith. Rev. Smith cleared his throat: “Ms Suzie, this is Rev. Smith.” “Rev. Smith, what are you doing in the liquor store?” replied by Suzie.
I laughed and laughed. Do we have double standard when come to judge ourselves and others
